Pride 2022 was also extra special in Oxford, as an in-person event had not been held for the past two summers due to the coronavirus pandemic. My advice for women would be to explore, understand and challenge themselves in all environments, not just professionally.Of great interest are the stunningly beautiful University Botanic Gardens, these are found opposite Magdalen College in Rose Lane.

The Oxford Pride parade usually attracts huge crowds, and this year was no different, and despite the rain at the start of the parade – showing the world that Oxford is a beacon of inclusiveness, acceptance, diversity and perseverance.

Shotover Country Park covers 117 hectares on the southern slopes of Shotover Hill, and is very popular with walkers, joggers, dog. Closed signs cover the front now, however, the site will soon be redeveloped into six floors of offices, with a rooftop restaurant, a pool and gym.
